Publicly Adaptive has been quiet...
Why? Because we are cooking 3 things, all due the end of 2009.
A new decade is about to start and we want to lead the way. So sometimes quiet is good and it doesn't drive anxiety and a fear in our competitors, meaning that we can work focused in our goals.

This project aspires to be a very simple email address extracting software. All the files are placed in the import folder and the output of valid emails will come out in the export folder.
It is release under BSD license, and anyone can contribute.
Here are some TODOS:
- import from file;
- blacklist emails;
- disposable email checker;
You can download and fork the code at
github.com.

Computer research project between students of
FEUP (Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto) and staff of
Adaptive.
An
AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript + XML) travel selection engine, backed by
SQLite (a small C library that implements a self-contained, embeddable, zero-configuration SQL database engine) and
Hibernate (a powerful, ultra-high performance object/relational persistence and query service for Java).

Have you ever wanted to book the best place in your favourite holiday’s destination that fitted the exact bill for your perfect vacation? That resort that has all the services in the perfect spot for assuring the perfect time, all this while still fitting in your desired price tag? And what about if you wish to travel in a group that may hold different ideas concerning their perfect holidays…it’s all about finding the place that can offer the best solution for all the members.
This was and still is a big dilemma in the individual or Group travel…the scope of our project aims to build a web application that effectively supports customer(s)’s decision on booking the most suitable accommodation according to his preferences/tastes.
This kind of system is known as
Decision Support System (DSS).
In short, our objective recurs to
Decision Support System Theory for theoretical background in order to apply it into a web application for individual or group travel.
This is the project’s webpage, with all information about the proposed implementation (theoretical and practical), its roadmap as well as other relevant info.
